Frailty means increased vulnerability of older people. However, since frailty is not an inevitable consequence of ageing, it can be prevented to foster a longer and healthier life. ADVANTAGE JA will build a common understanding on frailty to be used in all the Member States.

ADVANTAGE JA involves 22 Member States and over 33 entities and it is co-funded by the European Union.
It will provide a common approach models of care to face the challenge of frailty of older people within a common European framework.
It will promote the needed sustainable changes in the organization and their implementation in the Health and Social System.
