The AC is the legal entity acting as the intermediary between the Parties and the Funding Authority. Thus, he is the single point of contact between the European Commission and the Consortium.
He is in charge of the coordination and follow-up of the implementation, administration of resources and effective interaction amongst partners.
He is responsible for analysis of information, drawing conclusions and drafting final documents and reports. He ensures a good group dynamic and provides opportunities for extracting the best from the intellectual capacity and expertise of the partners.
The AC is assisted in all his duties by a Coordinating Team (composed by a Deputy co-ordinator and four professionals for technical management and administrative support). The Deputy Coordinator, whenever deemed necessary by the AC, acts on his behalf and takes on his tasks.
